In Grafana Labs’ 2025 Observability Survey, 41% of respondents reported using OpenTelemetry in production, with another 38% actively investigating it or running a POC. OpenTelemetry enables you to collect and standardize logs, metrics, and traces, and Grafana Cloud provides powerful workflows for visualizing and analyzing this data.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll get an introduction to the fundamentals of OpenTelemetry, learn how to monitor and troubleshoot using Grafana Cloud, and experience OpenTelemetry in action — without needing to write any code.

Workshop Requirements:

You are comfortable reading and modifying small amounts of Bash scripts, configuration files and JavaScript
You will have a computer with a modern, up-to-date web browser, and lenient outbound firewall rules or be able to participate in the session from an unrestricted network.

If you do not have this experience you will be not technically qualified for the workshop and be disqualified when Registering.
